New entrant to the shaving and skincare sector Kairn, has selected Firehaus to develop its Brand Idea.

The brand has completed an initial phase of product development, which has seen excellent results in-market, and is now planning for the next phase of growth.

‘We know we have products that people love’, said founder Derek Hood. ‘The feedback has been fantastic and repeat sales and order values have been very encouraging. Now we have to supercharge the brand’.

Derek teamed up with co-founder Douglas Killick to build a range of delicately fragranced unisex skincare products, meticulously blended from 21 hand-picked botanical and essential oils. The current range includes skin washes, shave and skin oils, after shave lotions and balms.

‘The products combine to create a unique three-stage skincare system, leaving the skin feeling renewed. A real blend of art and science’, said Derek.

The whole range is plastic free and there are further exciting developments in the pipeline.

‘We’ve met with a number of agencies, but the launch of Firehaus seemed to offer us something different’, said Douglas. ‘We’ve already witnessed real partnership and co-creation from our initial conversations, which is great for a startup like us. We’re a brand with diversity at our core, something Firehaus have baked-in to their approach, which promises a diversity of inputs to the strategic and creative process’.

Firehaus Founder and Creative Partner Ian Bates said ‘We’ve been really impressed with the dedication and craftsmanship Kairn have shown in the development of their products. After hearing their plans for the future we were delighted to have been chosen for the next step of their journey. The Brand Idea will help ignite the venture’.
