Creating better futures. Together.

Loughborough University’s 2030 strategy is to Create Better Futures Together through the themes of Sport, Health & Wellbeing; Climate Change & Net Zero; and Vibrant Inclusive Communities.

We’re supporting individual Schools to align their proposition and content to this vision, balancing this with articulating more clearly and distinctively how they deliver on external audience needs and goals.

Loughborough Business School  A global rebrand of what was the School of Business and Economics. A detailed Discovery process was followed by a Positioning workstream run with the School's senior leadership. Finally, we collaborated with the Central Brand & Design team to create a powerful visual identity and ongoing comms material for the School.

  • Social media strategy and planning – Working with the Central and School Marketing team on bringing Progress With Purpose to life across its owned social channels.

  • Story gathering and storytelling – All Schools, Faculties and Research Centres have great stories to tell, but it’s surprising how often this ‘buried treasure’ remains known to only a few. We’re helping Loughborough Business School identify and dramatise its great stories.

  • External partnership strategy – Great businesses sit at the heart of Loughborough Business School – but how can the school refine its communications to attract even more innovative organisations looking to make their next leap? We’re working with them to find out.

“Firehaus’ insight, clarity of thought and creativity have lit a spark beneath how we think about ourselves and express that to the world.”
Prof. Jan Godsell, Dean of Loughborough Business School

School of Social Sciences and Humanities – Creating a clear connecting theme between the varied School departments to fully leverage the power of their brand to recruit new students. We’re advising them on the best steps to create real and relevant identities for their divisions in the eyes of prospective students.

“Firehaus are a dream to work with. Strategic, creative, personable, professional and a reassuring presence at every step.”
Sarah Bostock, Head of Strategic Marketing

Loughborough University – Staff training through their Big Ideas programme. We’re running sessions that bring the outsider perspective to challenge, inspire and nurture their internal expertise.

“We’ve learnt from them and scratched our heads with them and ultimately, we’ve developed a relationship built on trust and mutual respect.”
Ali Freer, Head of Brand, Creative and Print Services
