Strategic and creative agility during the Covid crisis

Approach: Creativity Network

When the senior leadership of an organisation needs to scale its capabilities at speed, it needs a trusted partner.

It’s the principle that led us to support Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire CCG - one of the largest in the UK - during the Covid crisis.

The CCG is responsible for the healthcare needs of a diverse population of over 1m people. Now there was an urgent role for them to prevent A&E from becoming overloaded – reinforcing national messaging locally and critically engaging hard-to-reach communities.

Do your bit for the NHS

We co-opted the public into the solution by creating the campaign ‘Do your bit for the NHS’, to help people make the best decision about where to get local treatment.

Together with our media partner P15, we were able to deliver rapid creative and media ideation which could be deployed into mass channels like social, radio, DOOH and posters, alongside cascading to niche networks for hard-to-reach groups such as homeless people and sex workers.

"Firehaus bring a unique set of skills and abilities to the table; it's also rare that you have conversations where everyone you connect with is thinking both strategy and execution, where the challenge is always constructive but rigorous and the shared goal is relentlessly pursued"

Alex Ward-Booth, Head of Insights & Public Engagement, Bristol, North Somerset & South Gloucestershire CCG, NHS
